✦ TEST THE ROAD
a 24 MB ride from Garnet, the realm’s gate, across the beam to whatever you are holding · on the neighbour’s Wi-Fi it measures the whole road at once: your air, your router, the beam
How to aim: loosen the clamp, turn slowly, watch the RSSI climb (closer to zero is better; around -50 is a superb link, -65 still fine, past -75 it will drop in rain). With the ear on, the note rises as the aim improves. Tighten at the peak, then check the other tower.
